Product Description
The night sky constellations can only be truly appreciated when upward light is reduced dramatically. With this Dark Sky Friendly version of the Stellar Outdoor Collection, a downlight is shielded to achieve this goal. Much like its sister-sconce, this large wall mount is a contemporary take on a classic lantern design and suits a variety of architectural styles. An angular, open aluminum cage-like structure contains the metal housing for the downlight. Available in a choice of AAMA 2604-rated Coastal Outdoor Finishes.

Getting the Size Right

- Hanging fixtures: for a dining table, hang the bottom of the fixture 30–36″ above the table. In an entryway, keep at least 7 ft of floor clearance.
- Chandelier diameter: a common starting point is room length (ft) + room width (ft) = fixture diameter in inches.
- Vanity & sconces: mount sconces about eye level (60–66″) and size vanity lights to roughly 75% of the mirror width.
- Outdoor: confirm the fixture’s wet/damp rating and that its scale suits the exterior wall or ceiling — outdoor fixtures often need to read larger.
