This compact, low-voltage light offers significant, yet gently diffused light output, and works with our Kichler 24V power supplies to create a beautiful lighting system. Its sturdy design and textured black finish can install as either a recessed or surface mounted fixture based on the application. Model shown here is 3000K with a textured black finish.
Getting the Size Right
Dimensions matter for every lighting type. Check the full Dimensions & Size specs above against your space before ordering.
- Hanging fixtures: for a dining table, hang the bottom of the fixture 30–36″ above the table. In an entryway, keep at least 7 ft of floor clearance.
- Chandelier diameter: a common starting point is room length (ft) + room width (ft) = fixture diameter in inches.
- Vanity & sconces: mount sconces about eye level (60–66″) and size vanity lights to roughly 75% of the mirror width.
- Outdoor: confirm the fixture’s wet/damp rating and that its scale suits the exterior wall or ceiling — outdoor fixtures often need to read larger.

Both styles exist. Hardwired picture lights need a junction box behind or above the artwork. Plug-in models use a cord and wall outlet — easier for renters. Match width to artwork — fixture length roughly ½ to ¾ of frame width.
3000K neutral white renders colors accurately without excessive warmth. High-CRI bulbs (90+) show true reds and blues. Avoid UV-heavy sources that fade art — LED picture lights are generally safe at moderate output.
Low-voltage LED strips and puck lights often need a driver (similar to a transformer). Line-voltage fixtures plug in or hardwire directly. Confirm what is included — buying strips without a driver means an extra component.
Depends on the product. LED strips need compatible dimmers and often a dimmable driver. Check the full system compatibility before install — mixing non-dimmable drivers with dimmer switches causes flicker or failure.
Niche products often come from different factories with unique finish palettes. Picture lights in "Antique Bronze" may not match chandelier bronze from the same brand. Treat specialty items as accent pieces where close match is enough.
