The wafer-thin Lotos LED Recessed Kit with remote driver combines high quality light output and efficiency while eliminating the need for a large housing. This innovative design can be installed easily as a remodel or new construction with an optional frame-in kit sold separately. Lotos is available in a downlight version for general ambient lighting and an adjustable version with a gimbal that pivots 360 degrees on a hinge. Now available with 5-CCT options.
Getting the Size Right
Dimensions matter for every lighting type. Check the full Dimensions & Size specs above against your space before ordering.
- Hanging fixtures: for a dining table, hang the bottom of the fixture 30–36″ above the table. In an entryway, keep at least 7 ft of floor clearance.
- Chandelier diameter: a common starting point is room length (ft) + room width (ft) = fixture diameter in inches.
- Vanity & sconces: mount sconces about eye level (60–66″) and size vanity lights to roughly 75% of the mirror width.
- Outdoor: confirm the fixture’s wet/damp rating and that its scale suits the exterior wall or ceiling — outdoor fixtures often need to read larger.
