In its purest form the Locus Accessory by Sean Lavin is a perfectly shaped metal ring but once accompanied with one of our socket and cord style pendants, this simple ring becomes visually stunning. The Locus Accessory is available in three sizes, small, medium and large. Each distinct size brings even more dimension to the Mina, Alva and SoCo pendants. Customize the Locus Accessory to match your unique design by selecting from four on-trend hardware finishes.
Getting the Size Right
Dimensions matter for every lighting type. Check the full Dimensions & Size specs above against your space before ordering.
- Hanging fixtures: for a dining table, hang the bottom of the fixture 30–36″ above the table. In an entryway, keep at least 7 ft of floor clearance.
- Chandelier diameter: a common starting point is room length (ft) + room width (ft) = fixture diameter in inches.
- Vanity & sconces: mount sconces about eye level (60–66″) and size vanity lights to roughly 75% of the mirror width.
- Outdoor: confirm the fixture’s wet/damp rating and that its scale suits the exterior wall or ceiling — outdoor fixtures often need to read larger.
