Returns: Please check your order as soon as it arrives, before you schedule an electrician. Report any damage or missing parts right away, and no later than 14 days after delivery. In the tradition of the Prairie School, organic objects were interpreted into geometric forms. Meyda Tiffany uses colorful interlocking blocks of Willow Green granite glass to form stylized wheat stalks on a Beige Cream background, with Red and Blue accents. The stained glass shade is created using the famous Meyda Tiffany copperfoil construction technique. The shade pairs well with a base to create a table lamp or match with hardware to build a mini pendant. The Prairie Wheat Shade is featured in our American-designed, handcrafted Mission Lighting Collection. Each piece is a unique work of art with color variations based on natural ingredients inherent in the glass.
Getting the Size Right

- Hanging fixtures: for a dining table, hang the bottom of the fixture 30–36″ above the table. In an entryway, keep at least 7 ft of floor clearance.
- Chandelier diameter: a common starting point is room length (ft) + room width (ft) = fixture diameter in inches.
- Vanity & sconces: mount sconces about eye level (60–66″) and size vanity lights to roughly 75% of the mirror width.
- Outdoor: confirm the fixture’s wet/damp rating and that its scale suits the exterior wall or ceiling — outdoor fixtures often need to read larger.

Measure top diameter, bottom diameter, and slant height (not vertical height for tapered shades). Match the harp size and spider fitter (standard ½ inch or European). Bring your old shade dimensions when shopping for replacements.
