Product Description
Now you can convert a standard 3" outlet box to a low profile LED recessed fixture. Convert's patent pending design allows for the driver to Install Into an electrical box which requires no fire rated cover. This creates a fixture with only a 1" extension from the ceiling. High efficiency and smooth dimming down to 5% make this an excellent choice for hallways, kitchen, and utility lighting.
Getting the Size Right
Dimensions matter for every lighting type. Check the full Dimensions & Size specs above against your space before ordering.
- Hanging fixtures: for a dining table, hang the bottom of the fixture 30–36″ above the table. In an entryway, keep at least 7 ft of floor clearance.
- Chandelier diameter: a common starting point is room length (ft) + room width (ft) = fixture diameter in inches.
- Vanity & sconces: mount sconces about eye level (60–66″) and size vanity lights to roughly 75% of the mirror width.
- Outdoor: confirm the fixture’s wet/damp rating and that its scale suits the exterior wall or ceiling — outdoor fixtures often need to read larger.
