Wafer was designed for the discriminate consumer who wants the low profile look of recessed without the high cost. Manufactured of die cast aluminum, Wafer brings ultimate heat dissipation to its edge lit technology. Edge lighting gives very even light distribution while dispersing heat over a larger area. The result of this is longer LED life and better light diffusion.
Getting the Size Right
Dimensions matter for every lighting type. Check the full Dimensions & Size specs above against your space before ordering.
- Hanging fixtures: for a dining table, hang the bottom of the fixture 30–36″ above the table. In an entryway, keep at least 7 ft of floor clearance.
- Chandelier diameter: a common starting point is room length (ft) + room width (ft) = fixture diameter in inches.
- Vanity & sconces: mount sconces about eye level (60–66″) and size vanity lights to roughly 75% of the mirror width.
- Outdoor: confirm the fixture’s wet/damp rating and that its scale suits the exterior wall or ceiling — outdoor fixtures often need to read larger.
