Product Description

The Hunter Handheld Control allows you to adjust your fan's three speeds and dimmable light (requires dimmable bulbs) from the comfort of your couch. The included wall cradle provides a convenient location to hang the remote when it's not being used. Use this remote in addition to your wall control ceiling fans. Add this handheld remote to pull chain ceiling fans by using it with the Hunter Universal Receiver (99814, sold separately).

Getting the Size Right

Dimensions matter for every lighting type. Check the full Dimensions & Size specs above against your space before ordering.

• Hanging fixtures: for a dining table, hang the bottom of the fixture 30–36″ above the table. In an entryway, keep at least 7 ft of floor clearance.
• Chandelier diameter: a common starting point is room length (ft) + room width (ft) = fixture diameter in inches.
• Vanity & sconces: mount sconces about eye level (60–66″) and size vanity lights to roughly 75% of the mirror width.
• Outdoor: confirm the fixture’s wet/damp rating and that its scale suits the exterior wall or ceiling — outdoor fixtures often need to read larger.
