Simple, easy, and approachable, the tried-and-true Painted No.1 pendant light is now available in even more beautiful color and finish combinations. The classic hues have a timeless appeal, each giving the curved shade a different feel. This versatile pendant light comes in a 3-light design with an Aged Brass and Soft Studio Green finish or Polished Nickel and Soft French Blue finish. The 4-light design is also available in these finishes, as well as Aged Brass and Darkest Blue, Polished Nickel and Off-White, and Aged Brass and Off-White.
Getting the Size Right
Dimensions matter for every lighting type. Check the full Dimensions & Size specs above against your space before ordering.
- Hanging fixtures: for a dining table, hang the bottom of the fixture 30–36″ above the table. In an entryway, keep at least 7 ft of floor clearance.
- Chandelier diameter: a common starting point is room length (ft) + room width (ft) = fixture diameter in inches.
- Vanity & sconces: mount sconces about eye level (60–66″) and size vanity lights to roughly 75% of the mirror width.
- Outdoor: confirm the fixture’s wet/damp rating and that its scale suits the exterior wall or ceiling — outdoor fixtures often need to read larger.
