Product Description
A true artisanal family, Folly Beach is lighthearted, sculptural, and a little unexpected. Inspired by the iconic shape of the Palmetto tree, the shade has a wavy, hand-sketched quality imbued with effortless charm. The rich Verdigris finish over steel brings coastal beauty into any space. Available as a lamp and a pendant in two sizes, Folly Beach adds an undeniable touch of whimsy to a bedside, kitchen, or living room. Due to the one-of-a-kind nature of the medium, exact colors and patterns may vary slightly from the image shown.
Getting the Size Right
Dimensions matter for every lighting type. Check the full Dimensions & Size specs above against your space before ordering.
- Hanging fixtures: for a dining table, hang the bottom of the fixture 30–36″ above the table. In an entryway, keep at least 7 ft of floor clearance.
- Chandelier diameter: a common starting point is room length (ft) + room width (ft) = fixture diameter in inches.
- Vanity & sconces: mount sconces about eye level (60–66″) and size vanity lights to roughly 75% of the mirror width.
- Outdoor: confirm the fixture’s wet/damp rating and that its scale suits the exterior wall or ceiling — outdoor fixtures often need to read larger.
