Product Description
"There's just something inherently cool about snaps and leather" is how it all started for HF designer Andy Morter. Using a combination of fine leather, alabaster stone and metal, he adds hidden LED technology to create this SNAPS piece with the added versatility of being a floor plug-in for spaces without an electrical box. This portable SNAPS can be swagged over a piece of furniture, and can easily be extended, as needed beyond its two large and one shorter leather straps with optional additional elements. Getting the Size Right
Dimensions matter for every lighting type. Check the full Dimensions & Size specs above against your space before ordering.
- Hanging fixtures: for a dining table, hang the bottom of the fixture 30–36″ above the table. In an entryway, keep at least 7 ft of floor clearance.
- Chandelier diameter: a common starting point is room length (ft) + room width (ft) = fixture diameter in inches.
- Vanity & sconces: mount sconces about eye level (60–66″) and size vanity lights to roughly 75% of the mirror width.
- Outdoor: confirm the fixture’s wet/damp rating and that its scale suits the exterior wall or ceiling — outdoor fixtures often need to read larger.
