Three pieces of heavily textured handmade glass form the curved shape of the Glissade LED Arc Floor Lamp. "Walking across an icy pond in Iowa," said designer Andy Morter, "I was captivated by the clarity and natural geometry of the fractured pieces of ice where their jagged edges met the shoreline." A dimmer is perfectly located for easy access.

Getting the Size Right

Dimensions matter for every lighting type. Check the full Dimensions & Size specs above against your space before ordering.

  • Hanging fixtures: for a dining table, hang the bottom of the fixture 30–36″ above the table. In an entryway, keep at least 7 ft of floor clearance.
  • Chandelier diameter: a common starting point is room length (ft) + room width (ft) = fixture diameter in inches.
  • Vanity & sconces: mount sconces about eye level (60–66″) and size vanity lights to roughly 75% of the mirror width.
  • Outdoor: confirm the fixture’s wet/damp rating and that its scale suits the exterior wall or ceiling — outdoor fixtures often need to read larger.
