Product Description

Mixed materials are not only on-trend, but show both the organic nature of slate from a nearby Vermont quarry and the metalwork of skilled Vermont artisans. Illuminated by our LED light-guide platform, the Ardesia is the apex of where technology meets nature. A natural element, slate has slight variations in size, color and texture. Also available as a large, linear pendant.

Getting the Size Right

Dimensions matter for every lighting type. Check the full Dimensions & Size specs above against your space before ordering.

  • Hanging fixtures: for a dining table, hang the bottom of the fixture 30–36″ above the table. In an entryway, keep at least 7 ft of floor clearance.
  • Chandelier diameter: a common starting point is room length (ft) + room width (ft) = fixture diameter in inches.
  • Vanity & sconces: mount sconces about eye level (60–66″) and size vanity lights to roughly 75% of the mirror width.
  • Outdoor: confirm the fixture’s wet/damp rating and that its scale suits the exterior wall or ceiling — outdoor fixtures often need to read larger.
