Hand-forged shades shield each light of the Brooklyn Double Shade Mobile. With its mobile platform, the Brooklyn's canopy is minimized and its reach is maximized. Delicate metal tubes guide cables for a highly-adjustable configuration. The shades are available as a two-tone option, with shades that can be in contrasting finishes, if desired. Vermont artisans hand-forge and texture each shade for a distinctive look.

Getting the Size Right

Dimensions matter for every lighting type. Check the full Dimensions & Size specs above against your space before ordering.

• Hanging fixtures: for a dining table, hang the bottom of the fixture 30–36″ above the table. In an entryway, keep at least 7 ft of floor clearance.
• Chandelier diameter: a common starting point is room length (ft) + room width (ft) = fixture diameter in inches.
• Vanity & sconces: mount sconces about eye level (60–66″) and size vanity lights to roughly 75% of the mirror width.
• Outdoor: confirm the fixture’s wet/damp rating and that its scale suits the exterior wall or ceiling — outdoor fixtures often need to read larger.
