The Levy 24" Fandelier by Craftmade offers the convenience a Wi-Fi enabled, energy saving, 6-speed reversible DC motor ceiling fan surrounded by a sleek integrated 32 Watt dimmable 3000-5000 CCT LED ring. Featuring a set of three custom 19" polycarbonate blades, the fandelier can be controlled using the included handheld remote control or through the integrated Wi-Fi feature using the Bond app which allow access to additional functions including voice control, breeze, and timer functions compatible for use with most smart home devices, smartphones, and systems with no additional hub needed.

These are recommendations. 52″ fans, for instance, can fit proportionally in most living rooms, bedrooms, porches, and similar spaces. Multiple fans in larger rooms is always an option as well! Consult with a lighting pro before deciding!

Getting the Size Right

Dimensions matter for every lighting type. Check the full Dimensions & Size specs above against your space before ordering.

• Hanging fixtures: for a dining table, hang the bottom of the fixture 30–36″ above the table. In an entryway, keep at least 7 ft of floor clearance.
• Chandelier diameter: a common starting point is room length (ft) + room width (ft) = fixture diameter in inches.
• Vanity & sconces: mount sconces about eye level (60–66″) and size vanity lights to roughly 75% of the mirror width.
• Outdoor: confirm the fixture’s wet/damp rating and that its scale suits the exterior wall or ceiling — outdoor fixtures often need to read larger.

What size ceiling fan do I need for my room?  

Add room length and width in feet — the sum equals approximate blade span in inches (12×14 ft room → 52-inch fan). Rooms over 18 feet may need two fans. Low ceilings under 8 feet need hugger or low-profile fans.

How do I choose the right downrod length for my ceiling height?  

Ideal blade height is 8–9 feet from the floor. Subtract fan height from ceiling height, then subtract 8.5 feet — the remainder is downrod length. Sloped ceilings may need longer downrods and a sloped adapter kit.

Can ceiling fans be installed on sloped ceilings?  

Yes with a sloped-ceiling adapter (often for slopes up to 30–45°). Confirm compatibility with your fan model. Vaulted ceilings steeper than the adapter rating need special mounts or low-profile hugger fans.

What is the difference between damp-rated and wet-rated fans?  

Damp-rated fans suit covered patios and bathrooms with humidity. Wet-rated fans can be exposed to direct rain — open pergolas and coastal locations. Dry-location fans are indoor only — never use them outdoors or in shower rooms.

Do ceiling fans include a light kit and remote?  

Varies by model — some are fan-only, others include integrated LED light kits. Remotes, wall controls, and pull chains differ by SKU. Check Included Controls and Bulbs Included on the product page before ordering.

Why does the same fan finish look different from my light fixtures?  

Fan motors and blade finishes use different coatings than lighting fixtures. Even within one brand, "Matte Black" on a fan may differ slightly from a pendant. Order fan and room lights from one brand for closest match.

How many blades is best — 3, 4, or 5?  

Blade count affects aesthetics more than airflow — motor quality and blade pitch determine performance. Five blades run quieter in many models. Three-blade fans often have a modern look. CFM (airflow) spec matters more than blade count.

Can I use a dimmer on a fan with an integrated LED light?  

Fans need a fan speed control (wall control or remote) — standard dimmers do not control motor speed. Light kits may dim separately if listed as dimmable. Use manufacturer-approved dual controls or smart remotes for combined fan/light.

What does CFM mean and how much do I need?  

CFM (cubic feet per minute) measures airflow. Bedrooms 1,500–4,000 CFM; large living rooms 5,000–9,000+ CFM. Higher CFM cools better but use ENERGY STAR models for efficiency. Low CFM fans look fine but move little air.

How are large ceiling fans shipped?  

Fans ship in multiple cartons — motor, blades, downrod, and light kit separately. Large-diameter fans (60+ inches) may ship freight. Balance blades per the manual after assembly to avoid wobble. Estimated Ship Date varies by finish.
