Getting the Size Right

• Hanging fixtures: for a dining table, hang the bottom of the fixture 30–36″ above the table. In an entryway, keep at least 7 ft of floor clearance.
• Chandelier diameter: a common starting point is room length (ft) + room width (ft) = fixture diameter in inches.
• Vanity & sconces: mount sconces about eye level (60–66″) and size vanity lights to roughly 75% of the mirror width.
• Outdoor: confirm the fixture’s wet/damp rating and that its scale suits the exterior wall or ceiling — outdoor fixtures often need to read larger.

What bulb types fit mini chandeliers?  

Usually candelabra (E12) because of scale. LED candelabra bulbs are widely available in 2700K–3000K. Check max wattage per socket. Some minis use G9 or integrated LED — verify before buying replacement bulbs.

Why does the same finish look different on a mini vs. a large chandelier from another brand?
