Butler Lighting Showroom Shipping Policies

In addition to all of our spectacular prices on the widest range of high-quality lighting fixtures, Butler Lighting believes in providing you with the most value possible when it’s time to ship your purchases. In most cases, our showroom brings in the item(s) to our showroom for pickup. If you are a long-distance or out-of-state customer, see the out-of-state section below!

  • We do ship to Alaska and Hawaii, however, all orders shipped to these states are subject to additional fees.
  • In most cases, we bring in and warehouse your items for pickup. If you are buying a house’s worth or a large order, we will warehouse these items for you and deliver them locally. 
  • Smaller items are usually picked up. We will contact you when your items are ready to pick up! Contact your sales representative for ETAs and any updates.
  • For large orders, orders with oversized items, custom made items please contact our showroom or your dedicated sales rep. They will work with you to determine the best shipping method for your order. These items will take on shipping methods like LTL. The carrier will call you in advance to schedule a time for delivery (if it is shipping direct).


We do deliver to out-of-state customers. Shipping Items will be shipped upon the judgment of what it is you are purchasing. Display items usually require us to hand-deliver these items. Example: a large chandelier that would not be deconstructed but transported in its entirety (there is a limit to these deliveries due to their nature). We also ship directly from the vendor. Showroom sales require freight to be covered by the customers. We pride ourselves on our lighting expertise and provide that as a free service to the showroom customer. We do not charge a “consultation fee” or any extra “fees” for our free service. With over 200 years of combined experience, we give you a great deal of insight and helpful information when helping select the perfect lighting for your project.   • We cannot be held responsible for missing deliveries once FedEx or UPS indicates that the shipment has been delivered.
  • We only ship with UPS and FedEx, unless otherwise.
  • We cannot be responsible for delays in shipping due to an invalid delivery address.
  • We do not ship to P.O. boxes.
  • If you return an order that was shipped via expedited delivery at your request (meaning overnight, 2nd-day air, or 3rd-day air), the expedited shipping fee will not be refunded.
  • Some fixtures (including some chandeliers and other large lighting fixtures) are too large to ship via UPS or FedEx. These items must be shipped by freight truck. Any items shipped via freight are not eligible for expedited shipping. Truck shipments generally take between two and three weeks for delivery (typically sooner than later).
  • If you would like your order to be shipped with a signature required upon delivery, please note that request on your order. Orders are not shipped with Signature Service unless requested or UPS/FedEx requires it for your area.
  • We are not responsible for any exchange rates charged by your bank and will not reimburse any exchange costs associated with your order.
